My superpower as a friend

For distance learning we had to create a poster about what our superpower is as a friend. Superpower as a friend is what your good at doing as a friend like if they need help you can help them out im good at helping people out so I made a poster about it. This is my poster that i created below:                                  I made this poster on Canva. I used a template and added my own stuff to it to make this and it didnt take that long. Distance Learning-2

 Today is Monday 23rd August our 2nd to last day of lockdown (Probably not) now there have been more cases of Delta Or Covid and we have a lockdown update today. I think our lockdown is getting extended though because there are alot more than 30 cases I think and over 300 people are getting tested that when to shopping malls and grocery stores like Countdown and Crown plaza and there are few hundred tests results to come back to peple so we dont know. But we will probably stay in lockdown for longer.

Balance Challenge

 Today for our distance learning we got a Thursday challenge. The challenge was to make two forks balance on a coin on top of a cup. When I saw the picture I thought It was going to be easy so I tried the challenge when I tried it the challenge was actually hard and took me about 15 tries after trying for a long time I got the coin and forks to balance on the cup and here is how it looked like: 

I thought this challenge was hard for me but was also fun trying it.

Distance Learning

This week our class is doing distance learning because of Delta and Covid-19. How we do our learning is we have 1 google meet in the morning from 9:00 to 9:15 then we have another google meet at 10:30 to 11:30 on what were going to do and also learning after we have 1 more google meet at 2:00 to 3:00 clock for problems we have and issues when I joined the meet was only for 5 minutes because only 2 people from my class joined. How we learn is we get learning tasks sent to us that we need to complete and also a time table of them here is a picture: 

Becoming Cybersmart

Since yesterday and as well as today our class has been working on Cyber smart. Cyber smart is about how to make your blog comments better and breaking your blog comments down into parts. Here is how we did it. (here is a picture of what I did) 

What we had to do was highlight the greetings in a pale yellow colour, then highlight the positive in green and thoughtful in blue, finally the helpful comment in pink. After that we had to break down someone else's comment on your blog. I broke down Miss Harland's comment on my blog. Here is a picture:

Making Characters fly - Scratch

 Today our class did a project on Scratch. The project was on how to make characters fly on Scratch. The idea was to make it look like the character was flying past a building. I had two ideas; first to make it look like there was a car driving past a building and the other was a flying cat, flying past buildings. Here are the videos of my ideas:

Calendar Art Practice

 Since yesterday we have been doing calendar art practice on line and colour art. Line and colour art has different types but the one we are doing is with tape, paint and paper how we do line and colour art is we make random shapes with tape and then we add paint here is a picture on how it looks like:

I think Tape and Paint art is fun because we get to do painting but in a different way. It looks bad with tape but this is what it starts to look like after the tape is removed (this isn't mine) We are also doing this because for this term our art focus is line and colour and its super fun.

After my paint dried I took the tape off and it was going good until the paper starting ripping so it was a fail here is how it looked like:⇣⇣ I learned that if you take your tape off when your paint is still wet it goes fine but if you take your paint off when its dry the paint sticks then it rips the paper.
